Tile Grout TG – Polymer Modified Water Repellent Tile Grout

Description

Tile Grout TG is a cement-based tile joint filler designed for ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles, marble, granite, mosaic, and natural stone. It is formulated with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal additives to help prevent mold and mildew formation. The grout offers strong water repellency, reducing water absorption while providing durable, crack-resistant joints. Suitable for both interior and exterior wall and floor applications.

Directions for Use

Surface Preparation

Ensure all tiles and joints are clean and free from loose particles.
Grouting should be carried out 24 hours after tile installation.

Mixing & Application

Mix approximately 2.5 parts Tile Grout TG with 1 part clean water (by volume) in a clean, non-absorbent container.
Stir thoroughly to obtain a smooth, lump-free paste.
Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes, then remix before use.
Dampen tile joints with a sponge or brush and remove excess water.
Apply grout diagonally across the joints using a rubber float or squeegee, ensuring joints are completely filled.
Allow grout to set for 30–45 minutes.
Remove excess grout with a damp sponge after 45–60 minutes.
After approximately 3 hours, clean the tile surface with a dry cloth.
Allow foot traffic only after 24 hours.

Coverage depends on tile size, joint width, and tile thickness.

Coverage Formula:
((L + B) × W × D × 1.2) ÷ (L × B) = kg/m²

Where:

L = Tile Length (mm)
B = Tile Breadth (mm)
W = Joint Width (mm)
D = Tile Thickness (mm)

Example: For a 600 × 600 mm tile, 8 mm thick with a 5 mm joint, the approximate consumption is 0.16 kg/m².
