Product Description

Maxx Screed Addmix is a blend of cement, fillers, high quality additives and superior polymer to produce a rapid usable screed for receiving floor coverings such as tiles and stones. It is a self-curing screed intended for interior and exterior underlays.

Note: Grain size matrix should be uniformly distributed up to 8 mm.

Application Methodology

1. Surface Preparation

Clean the surface thoroughly and remove dust, oil, grease, wax, curing agents and loose materials. For large areas, use mechanical grinding or shot blasting. Remove debris using a wire brush, vacuum cleaner or damp sponge.

2. Priming

Mix Maxx Screed Addmix with 50% water by weight to make a lump-free slurry. Apply evenly using a brush or roller. One 20 kg bag covers approximately 20 sq. m.

3. Application

While the primer is wet and tacky, apply the screed prepared by mixing Maxx Screed Addmix with aggregates and water. Spread evenly, compact well and maintain the required floor level. Mixing can be done in a standard concrete mixer.

4. Cleanup

Clean tools, mixer and hands with water before the material hardens.
