Bond Crete Super – Single Component Acrylic Co-Polymer for Waterproofing

Description

Bond Crete Super is an acrylic emulsion formulated to be mixed with cement on-site or brush-applied over concrete and masonry surfaces to create an effective waterproof membrane. It enhances the tensile and flexural strength of cement mortar while providing durable waterproofing. Suitable for horizontal and vertical applications on residential and commercial structures.

Application Methodology

Surface Preparation

Clean the surface using a wire brush or scrubber to remove dirt, dust, laitance, and loose particles.
Repair badly honeycombed surfaces with plaster or screed before application.

Priming

Prepare the primer using:

1 Part Bond Crete Super
2 Parts Water
4 Parts Cement

Top Coat

Mix 1 part Bond Crete Super with 2 parts Cement using a low-speed stirrer (300–400 rpm) until a smooth, lump-free slurry is obtained.
Apply the first coat and allow it to dry for 5–6 hours.
Apply the second coat and allow it to air cure for at least 3 days.
Protect the coating with a 15–25 mm mortar screed.
On vertical surfaces, apply plaster while the second coat is still tacky for better adhesion.

As a Bonding Agent

Clean the surface thoroughly and pre-wet to a Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition.
Ensure no standing water remains.
Brush apply a single coat and allow it to become tacky before placing fresh mortar or concrete.
If the bond coat dries completely, apply another coat before continuing.

As a Repair Mortar Modifier

Recommended mix:

Cement: 50 kg
Washed Sand: 150 kg
Bond Crete Super: 5–7.5 kg
Water: 10 litres (or sufficient to achieve the required consistency)
