Description

MASTER FLEX 535 is a flexible high polymer modified thinset adhesive for fixing large format tiles, stones and granite on interior and exterior walls & floors.

Ready to use, only need water for mixing.
Flexible adhesive suitable for low to medium substrate vibration.
Excellent tensile and shear adhesion.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Excellent adhesion with low shrinkage.
Suitable for ceramic, vitrified tiles, glass mosaic, natural stone, granite and marble.
Suitable for new construction and renovation over existing floors/facades.
Extended open time with no vertical slip.
Suitable for high-temperature areas, Jacuzzi, sauna and outdoor applications.
Absorbs dynamic load.
Bed thickness: 3–12 mm (up to 15 mm in limited applications).

Application Methodology

Surface Preparation

Surface should be clean, sound and free from oil, grease and dirt.
Ensure surface is level.
Wet the surface before application.

Mixing

Mix 3 parts MASTER FLEX 535 powder with 1 part water.
Always add powder into water.
Mix manually or with a low-speed stirrer for 5–10 minutes.
Leave for 5 minutes before use.
Use within 90 minutes.
Do not add extra water, cement or sand.

Limitations

Do not use on wet screed or plaster.
Use only on cementitious waterproofing.
Do not use on epoxy or polyurethane waterproofing.
Do not use for glass tiles or metal tiles.
Do not use on metal, rubber, plastics, vinyl, linoleum or painted surfaces.

Application

Apply adhesive using a notched trowel.
Tile within 30 minutes.
Ensure full adhesive coverage.
Double buttering is recommended for heavy tiles.
Use spacers between tiles.
