Product Description
UNI FIBRE is a high-performance polypropylene fibre designed for use in concrete, mortar, screeds, and plaster. It minimizes plastic shrinkage and settlement cracks, improves durability, enhances impact and abrasion resistance, and provides uniform fibre distribution throughout the mix.

Application Instructions

Mixing

For site mixing, add fibres after aggregates, cement, and half the water while the mixer is running.
Add the remaining water to achieve the desired workability.
Mix for at least 5 minutes to ensure even fibre dispersion.
For plant batching, add fibres first, followed by the remaining materials.

Placing

Fibre-reinforced mixes may appear more cohesive.
Do not add extra water.
Compact using hand tamping or rolling as required.

Finishing

Finish with a power float or steel trowel to obtain a smooth, fibre-free surface.

Curing

Follow standard curing practices for conventional screeds and toppings.

Dosage & Consumption

Standard Dosage: 125 g per 50 kg bag of cement
Approximate Consumption: 1 kg of 12 mm UNI FIBRE per m³ of screed or topping
Guide:
- 75 g bag for 25 kg cement
- 150 g bag for 50 kg cement
- 500 g bag for 1 tonne of ready-mix screed

Storage & Shelf Life

Shelf life: 18 months from the date of manufacture.
Store in original unopened packaging between 5°C and 45°C, protected from heat, moisture, and freezing.

Limitations
