Product Description
UNI GUARD A is a two-part polymer modified flexible waterproof coating designed for waterproofing and protecting concrete structures, cementitious screeds, and masonry surfaces. It provides a flexible, durable membrane with excellent adhesion and resistance to water, chlorides, sulphates, and aggressive atmospheric elements.

Applications

Waterproofing concrete structures, renders, and cementitious screeds
Bathrooms, showers, balconies, terraces, and swimming pools before tile installation
Retaining walls and precast concrete elements below ground
Protection of cracked concrete and plaster against water penetration
Protection of concrete exposed to seawater, de-icing salts, chlorides, and sulphates

Application Method

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean, sound, and free from cement laitance, dust, grease, oil, loose particles, and release agents.
Repair existing cracks before application.

Mixing

Pour Component B (liquid) into a clean container.
Gradually add Component A (powder) while mixing with a low-speed mechanical mixer.
Mix until a smooth, lump-free, homogeneous consistency is achieved.

Application

Thoroughly wet the surface and remove excess water.
Apply by brush at 1–1.5 mm thickness per coat.
Apply subsequent coats only after the previous coat has dried (6–8 hours).
Use the mixed material within 30 minutes.

Cleaning

Clean tools immediately after use with clean water.

Wear protective gloves and safety glasses during mixing and application.
Wash skin with soap and water if contact occurs.
In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek medical advice.
